Long-Term Care

Long Term Care (LTC) is medically necessary care to assist a person with the activities of daily living following an accident, illness or advancing age. This care can be at home or provided by assisted living or nursing home facilities. Medicare does not provide long term care. This coverage is very expensive and timing is critical. You need to determine your need for this product as early as possible in order to control costs.

Nearly half the people in nursing homes do not have long term care insurance. They are covered by Medicaid after spending down their assets to the federal poverty level.
